The Trip to Manu National Park tour begins at 6.00am from Cusco, through the Peruvian Andes. First break to visit the pre Inca burial towers of Ninamarca Archaeological Site. Then we will cross through the typical and Picturesque Village of Paucartambo with a quick overview of locals’ lifestyles and colourful clothes, before the entrance of Cloud Forest, which is maximum altitude of 3,900m/12,790ft. F.
We have so many shore walks along the Mysterious Cloud Forest such environment filled orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns and at Fog Forest. After lunch, we will spot the Peruvian National Bird of Peru, the Exotic Andean cock of the rock (Rupicola Peruviana), quetzals, Amazonian Umbrella bird, Trogons (Trogon sp.) The Biggest Monkey in Peru (woolly monkey), some Brown Capuchin and with luck the only South American Spectacled Bear.
Then We continue by van to Atalaya port, on the way we will stop to Visit Coca Plantations. Also there are a nice view to see the Lowland Rainforest. Then we will navigate down by boat through this crystalline river of Madre de Dios.
So you can enjoy seeing the surrounding landscapes different level of mountains. In the afternoon, we arrive to the retreat center, then we will have a Group meeting – Introduction to the Shaman and Medical staff discussion about Ayahuasca and Ceremonies Intentions – Coca leaves ceremony and prayer for the unification of energies and finally a cleansing ceremony of forgiveness.
After dinner we have a night walk around the lodge to see some alligators , frogs or tarantulas.
Before breakfast we will leave early by boat through the Manu River almost 30 minutes, with lucky may see the Largest Rodent in the World – Capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) or Brazilian Tapir (Tapirus terrestris). Then we will Visit the great Parrots Clay Lick to see hundreds of parakeets and small Macaws eating Salts Minerals. After break we have 03 hours to Explore into the Primary Forest, together a Huge Ceiba Trees the Mother of the Jungle. Always watching macaws, toucans, snakes, maybe a Jaguar (Panthera Onca) resting on a log.
During the afternoon we will have individual consultations with the doctor and the psychologist to better explore the physical and emotional state of each of you. Later we will do the Munay meditation based on unconditional love to improve the spiritual, psychological and physical state as a preparation prior to the first ayahuasca ceremony.
After our breakfast we will exploring the wildlife and the great Machuhuasi Oxbow Lake, where we will take a raft and see the pre-historic Hoatzin bird and Hiking around the lake you will ramble through the primary forest searching for some families of monkeys, peccaries.
In the meantime, you will be provided with some explanations about medicinal plants, reptiles as well as mammals perhaps Capybaras the Largest Rodent in the World. walking several hours around the lake watching Alligators, herons, oropendolas, toucans and, monkeys until sunset. After dark Jungle Night Walks.
After our lunch we will have our Group Meeting: an opportunity to integrate and share the teachings that you learned from the Ayahuasca ceremony, where you can also have an individual consultation with the teacher and psychologist to clarify some doubts.
During the night we will have our munay meditation to prepare ourselves spiritually, psychologically and physically to later begin our second ayahuasca ceremony.
After our breakfast we will have our Group Meeting: an opportunity to integrate and share the teachings that you learned from the Ayahuasca ceremony, where you can also have an individual consultation with the teacher and psychologist to clarify some doubts.
After our delicious lunch you will have free time to do OPTIONAL activities such as fishing, bathing in the river, resting, clay therapy, bonfire, contemplation of nature, individual spiritual practices and so on.
After our dinner we will have a night activity to observe frogs, snakes, insects, tarantulas and others.
In the morning after our delicious breakfast we will go to the community of Shintuya where we will appreciate some beautiful natural waterfalls where you can bathe in their refreshing waters.
After lunch we can enjoy some comforting and therapeutic hot springs to relax before our third ayahuasca ceremony.
Once we arrive at the retreat center we will practice our Munay meditation to prepare ourselves spiritually, mentally and physically for our third Ayahuasca ceremony.
After our breakfast we will have our Group Meeting: an opportunity to integrate and share the teachings that you learned from the Ayahuasca ceremony, where you can also have an individual consultation with the teacher and psychologist to clarify some doubts.
Later we will make an offering to Mother Earth, one of the ceremonies considered the most important in the Andean world where we will be able to offer all our love, gratitude, peace, harmony, and happiness to God and Mother Earth (all beings without any distinction).
Finally we will have our happy return to the city of Cusco arriving at night.
