Authentic & Safe Experience
Supported by medical professionals and experienced shamans
Immerse yourself in a profound healing experience in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. This 4-day retreat blends the ancient wisdom of Ayahuasca with an exploration of the breathtaking landscapes of Manu National Park. Guided by experienced shamans, psychologists, and medical staff, you will embark on a safe and authentic journey of self-discovery, emotional release, and deep connection with nature.
Your Manu National Park adventure begins at 6:00 AM with a scenic drive through the Andes Mountains. We will make a stop at the Ninamarca Archaeological Site, home to ancient pre-Inca burial towers, before continuing to the colorful village of Paucartambo. As we descend into the lush Cloud Forest (3,900m / 12,790ft), you’ll enjoy short walks surrounded by orchids, heliconias, and ferns.
Wildlife encounters include:
✔ Andean Cock of the Rock (Rupicola Peruviana) – Peru’s national bird
✔ Quetzals, Amazonian Umbrella Birds, Trogons, and monkeys (Woolly Monkey & Brown Capuchin)
✔ Possible sighting of the elusive Spectacled Bear
After visiting Coca plantations, we board a boat at Atalaya Port, navigating the crystal-clear Madre de Dios River to our retreat center. In the evening, we’ll gather for:

✔ Night jungle walk to observe alligators, frogs, and tarantulas
We begin the day with a boat trip along the Manu River, where you might spot capybaras, Brazilian tapirs, and even a jaguar. A highlight of the morning is the Parrot Clay Lick, where hundreds of parakeets and macaws gather to feed on mineral-rich clay.
After breakfast, we take a 3-hour jungle hike through the Primary Rainforest, discovering:
✔ Ceiba trees – the giants of the jungle
✔ Macaws, toucans, and possibly a jaguar resting on a log
In the afternoon, we offer:
✔ Individual consultations with a psychologist and doctor to assess your emotional and physical state

At night, you will participate in your first Ayahuasca ceremony, guided by experienced shamans in a safe and sacred environment.
After breakfast, we explore Machuhuasi Oxbow Lake on a raft excursion, where you can observe:
✔ Hoatzins (prehistoric birds), capybaras, alligators, peccaries, and various monkey species
We then take a guided walk through the primary jungle, learning about medicinal plants, reptiles, and jungle survival techniques.
In the afternoon, we hold a group integration session, allowing you to:
✔ Reflect on insights from the first Ayahuasca experience
✔ Receive individual consultations with the shaman and psychologist
At night, after a Munay meditation, you will embark on your second Ayahuasca ceremony, deepening your journey into healing and self-discovery.
